David and Victoria Beckham’s sons, Brooklyn and Romeo, are reportedly not on speaking terms due to a rift over Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.
According to sources close to the family, the tension isn’t about jealousy but rather concerns over Turnbull’s motives. The 23-year-old London-based DJ allegedly had a brief romance with Brooklyn years ago before dating his younger brother.
Romeo, 22, brought Turnbull to their father David Beckham’s lavish 50th birthday celebration in Miami on Sunday, where most of the family gathered. However, Brooklyn, 26, and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, were noticeably absent.
Insiders claim that Brooklyn and Nicola are intentionally avoiding family events where Turnbull is present. This reported family tension also explains their absence at Victoria Beckham’s fashion show in March.
Further fueling speculation, Romeo recently posted a group photo from their dad’s birthday bash but omitted Brooklyn. His caption read, “Family is everything … love you all,” while tagging Turnbull, sister Harper, parents Victoria and David, brother Cruz, and Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel.
Romeo and Turnbull made their relationship Instagram-official in November 2024. Before her, Romeo was linked to Mia Regan, whom he dated for five years before their split in February 2024.
Reps for Brooklyn and the Beckham family have not commented on the situation.
